I've always loved sneakers—the design, branding, and the history connected to my favorite athletes. As an artist, I enjoyed drawing my own original concepts, so when I discovered this design competition, I jumped at the opportunity.

Obscure Sneakers, in partnership with WeAreUnderdogs (WAU) and ITAflex, gave aspiring designers the chance to create and bring their own sneaker to life using ITAflex’s EVA sole. Out of 101 submissions my design was selected as a top 10 entry, and I’m proud to have had this opportunity to create.
